A woman has been hospitalized following a serious incident in central London after being struck by a vehicle outside a Mayfair club in the early hours of Sunday.
According to the Metropolitan Police, emergency services were called to Argyll Street at approximately 4:30 a.m. Reports indicate that a 30-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment after being hit by a car.
Authorities also confirmed that a man in his 50s sustained life-changing injuries and was transported to hospital, while a third woman in her 30s received minor injuries.
Police say the driver, a 29-year-old woman, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm (GBH), dangerous driving, and drink driving.
The incident occurred on a busy Soho street near the London Palladium. Officials have stated that the incident is not being treated as terrorism-related.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crash.
